One moment you’re happy, the next moment you feel like the whole world is against you. You’ve been working out, going to the gym regularly, but you just can’t seem to take control of your weight. All of a sudden, your face starts breaking out causing you to try out all sorts of remedies to make it look as smooth as it was before, but to no avail. You suffer from thyroid issues and you can’t seem to find a way of controlling your hormones. That’s the daily struggle of being a woman.
As a woman suffering from endometriosis, my hormones always seem to be all over the place, despite maintaining a regular workout program and trying to stay away from certain foods. A week before Aunt Flo arrives, I always seem to be on an emotional roller-coaster ride, I got tired of all the medicine I was taking and decided to go on a natural healing journey for myself. Please note this remedy is not scientifically proven and might not work for you, but I thought I would share my personal experience with you, since I have seen nothing but positive results with it.
For this mixture you will need:
•Pure fine Turmeric Powder (Not the stored bought turmeric powder)
•Coconut Oil and coconut water (tui).
This remedy helps in balancing your hormones, period related cramps and helps with thyroid related problems.
Turmeric is an old Indian spice that contains plenty of benefits for our human bodies! Curcumin, the main active ingredient in turmeric, has very powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Research shows that turmeric is helpful when it comes to dealing with fertility conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibrosis, ovarian cysts, premenstrual pain and amenorrhea.
Coconut Oil has plenty of benefits to our bodies, which includes building a strong immune system and also helps in balancing hormones. When you mix it with the tui, it helps clear your system and eases any pain related to endometriosis.
How to Prepare:
•5 tablespoons of coconut oil
•Half a cup of turmeric powder
•Once cup full of water
•Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Mix these ingredients in a pot, and let it simmer in low heat for around ten minutes. Let it cool for a while, pour it in a jug and store it inside your fridge. You will be able to use this mixture for at least two weeks, by using just a teaspoon of it in your mixture.
To make the remedy itself, boil two cups of tui (coconut milk), add one spoon of the mixture you had already made, add a bit of cinnamon, some honey to your tasting, and a bit of cayenne pepper (optional) stir it well, and drink this mixture before going to bed.
I did this faithfully for one month, and so far it has worked wonders for me. I hope it will do the same for someone out there.
